STUDENTS AND CLAIMING BENEFITS
If you are under 20, living away from home, and studying, you may be able to claim Income Support in some situations - see IS if you are 16-19. Some other groups of students can claim IS or JSA - depending on their age, the level that they are studying at, how many hours they study, and their circumstances. However it can be difficult to do as the rules are complicated.
